Circle of Love Earrings

A great class for beginners who would like to learn how to use Superduo's or Miniduo's to make these fun festive earrings. You will learn to make earrings that also incorporate O beads, Swarovski bicones that add just the right amount of sparkle and a touch of 15/0 seed beads.

An introduction to Bead Embroidery

Learn the art form of attaching beads and other components onto a material foundation to create a unique piece of jewelry. Using needle and thread students will use backstitch or peyote to form a bezel around the focal piece, and then embellish and edge the brooch or pendant. Instead, choose from our wide selection of beads and cabochons. Students will be able to finish the project at home after learning all the tips and techniques necessary for bead embroidery.

Starburst Sky Medallion

A sparkling rivoli encased in a peyote bezel embellished with SuperDuo's and Fire Polish beads slides onto a Superduo rope. You will learn to bezel the medallion and start the SuperDuo rope.

Daisy Chain Spiral

Daisy chain or spiral? Create the illusion of two strands of SuperDuos twisted around each other with the use of two colors of SuperDuos surrounding a central pearl. Bracelet is a "grow-as-you-go" project: finish one motif and immediately move on to the next on a continuous thread, eliminating sewing all the components together at the end.

The Art of Bead Crochet

Learn the fundamentals of bead crochet in this workshop. Students will leave class with the hands-on knowledge to begin crocheting bead ropes. With the logical and progressive steps taught in this class you will progress past the initial learning curve and be able to move on to crochet beautiful beaded ropes. Bead caps will finish off your focal necklace.

A great technique to learn, not only because of its beauty and versatility, but because of its portability (all beads are strung ahead of time, so no beads all over the airplane aisle or car floor!) Definitely the class to get you started.

Written instructions and diagrams will be distributed for reference, including some tips and tricks of the trade.

Designed by Alice Coelho, this stunning bracelet looks far more complicated than it is. Peyote-stitched squares of 15/0s, Delicas and Swarovski bicones are joined to form this quilted-looking pattern. This one always elicits compliments, whether in monochromatic or contrasting tones. Once you've mastered the pattern, variations in width and color can produce numerous designs. Taught with permission of designer.

Netting w/2-Hole Beads

The ancient but popular technique of netting can be found in almost all cultures on earth. The open areas between the beads result in a soft and lacy look. To create this collar we will learn vertical netting, resulting in points at the end of each row. Two-hole bricks and SuperDuos add a unique look to this necklace. Your choice of beads makes it classic enough for daytime wear or dressy enough for evening. Some beadweaving experience helpful.

Twinkling Diamond Stars Charm Bracelet

Inner Glow Necklace

This pendant has an inner glow that is eye catching. The pendant is composed of Lunasoft cabochon, crescents, SuperDuos, round beads, seed beads and Swarovski bicones. For the necklace you will learn Chenille stitch using a combination of 2 colors of seed beads, which will then be finished off with a beaded toggle made of SuperDuos and seed beads.

Nexus Bracelet & Earrings

Silky 2-hole beads lie on the diagonal, with a raised bevel on the top of each bead. This bracelet is created by beading 7 or more separate motifs, which are then joined using seed beads and SuperDuo beads. Single motifs make great earrings. When one row of rich gem tones just isn't enough! If the shine of bling isn't your thing, these pieces look equally lovely in matte and earthy colors. We will be using one-needle right angle weave for the bracelet base. Seed beads will form the embellishment - a row of X's or diagonals. Perfect for all levels of beaders. Project will not be completed in class, but students will have completed enough so finishing at home isn't a problem.
