Bobble Necklace and Earrings

Weave fire-polished beads, crystals or pearls among a meandering strand of seed beads to create this necklace and earring set. This versatile pattern works up quickly, and you'll definitely want more than one set! Based on a variation of a Deborah Roberti pattern, this set is stitched in a right angle weave variation.

Wire Wrapped Rings.

Wire wrapped rings are fun and easy to make once you know the techniques. Students will complete several rings in different styles, all using the same wireworking techniques. Rings will include a simple bead wrap, a 3-bead ring, a charm ring, a love knot ring, and a double wrapped shank ring.

This beautiful bracelet uses tila beads and square stitch to form the base and a crossweave technique for the top crystal embellishment. ALL CHOKED UP!

The ancient but popular technique of netting can be found in almost all cultures on earth. The open areas between the beads result in a soft and lacy look. To create this collar we will learn vertical netting, resulting in points at the end of each row. Using seed beads and Czech fire-polished beads result in a lovely Cleopatra-style collar, classic enough for daytime wear and dressy enough for evening. Crystals or pearls can be substituted for a totally different look. Variations of the pattern will be discussed for your future necklaces, and written instructions will be distributed.

Shamballa Bracelet and Leather

Create two of the season's hottest accessories in one class. The Shamballa bracelet has its roots in Buddhism and has come to represent peace, happiness and tranquility. Learn all the basic knotting and finishing techniques necessary to make this bracelet - and many more! Samples of other design options will be shown and accompanied by directions. Beaded Beads Necklace.

Basic Beadweaving recommended


Create an array of beaded beads from crystal, pearls, Czech glass and seed beads. These sparkling gems can be used together in a necklace or paired as earrings, or highlighted alone as a focal point. A variety of beadweaving techniques will be used to form these hollow beads.

Basic familiarity with beadweaving is recommended. So choose a palette and let's make beads!

Bodacious Bangles

HOMEWORK REQUIRED PRIOR TO CLASS!

This elegant and sparkly bracelet is composed of a peyote base topped with Swarovski crystals and seed beads in an elaborate netted design. The netted layer forms a lovely dome shape over the base. Included in the class will be suggestions for variations on the design.

Since the embellishment is the more interesting and complicated part of the bracelet, students will work on the base prior to class so as to allow time for the fun part. Directions are available after sign-up for the base; please allow enough time to complete your homework before class!

Bow Ties Bracelet

What better motif for a holiday gift than a ribbon of bows! Alternating bows and round medallions encircle the wrist, adding a festive flair to this bracelet. Perfect project to practice weaving tension and piecing. The versatility of this pattern lends itself to earrings and a necklace, and instructions will be given for all pieces.

The Art of Bead Crochet

Learn the fundamentals of bead crochet in this workshop. Students will leave class with the hands-on knowledge to begin crocheting bead ropes. With the logical and progressive steps taught in this class you will progress past the initial learning curve and be able to move on to crochet beautiful beaded ropes. Bead caps will finish off your focal necklace.

A great technique to learn, not only because of its beauty and versatility, but because of its portability (all beads are strung ahead of time, so no beads all over the airplane aisle or car floor!) Definitely the class to get you started.

Written instructions and diagrams will be distributed for reference, including some tips and tricks of the trade.

Let's Knot!

Classic pearl knotting, updated. Using the Easy Knotter designed by Maureen Olivetto, students will learn the techniques associated with this innovative and super-fast method of pearl knotting. Strung on silk bead cord, the coin pearl or gemstone necklace combines with crystals to make a statement all its own. The many samples in the store will inspire you and expand your beading experience.

Rolling Ridges Bracelet

Peyote reaches a new dimension with this bracelet! Choose several different bead sizes, and even-count peyote does the rest. A rolled bead separating each ridge contributes to the beauty of this project. This makes up beautifully in one color or a varied palette.

Game, Set, Match Bracelet

This bracelet takes the classic tennis bracelet to a new level of sophistication. Pearls dance down the center, flanked by with crystals and embellished with seed beads. Get creative. Her design lends itself well to using other beads: try all crystal, all pearls, round gemstones, or fire polish. Vary the width by using fewer rows, or add rows to make it a truly wide cuff. The possibilities are endless!
