Honeycomb Bracelet

A honeycomb pattern runs the length of this bracelet, surrounding Czech 2-hole tile beads. Add Superduos, bicones, rounds and seed beads to finish off this wide woven bracelet. With over 100 colors of Superduos in stock and a vast array of Czech round and fire-polished beads, any palette is at your fingertips.

Project will not be completed in class, but students will have all the necessary information to finish at home. Taught with permission of designer.

Some beadweaving experience is advised.

Kumihimo Bracelet with Button & Loop Closure

A step above our Beginning Kumihimo class. Learn a new method for ending your Kumihimo braids: the button and loop closure. In addition, he more experienced braiders will learn the technique of working with multi sized beads, if desired, while the novice braider can hone her skill working with seed beads. Beaded tassels optional.

Students must have taken the Beginning Kumihimo class or its equivalent.

HOMEWORK is required, so please visit the store to purchase your beads and homework instructions prior to the class date.

Royal Gems Double Weave

When one row of hugs and kisses just isn't enough!Whether you like the understated earthy look or the shine of bling, there's a set of beads calling your name for this bracelet. We will be using one-needle right angle weave for the bracelet base. Seed beads will form the embellishment - a row of X's or diagonals.

The ancient but popular technique of netting can be found in almost all cultures on earth. The open areas between the beads result in a soft and lacy look. To create this collar we will learn vertical netting, resulting in points at the end of each row. Using seed beads and Czech fire-polished beads result in a lovely Cleopatra-style collar, classic enough for daytime wear and dressy enough for evening. Crystals or pearls can be substituted for a totally different look. Variations of the pattern will be discussed for your future necklaces, and written instructions will be distributed.

Bird's Nest Pendant

In this beginner wire work class, you will learn to make an adorable birds nest pendant filled with 2 or 3 darling little eggs. If the fancy takes you, you can find a 'charming' bird to attach! You will learn how to work with wrapping wire, and make a wire wrapped bail for attaching a chain or cord. Choose from one of our huge assortment of chain, silk cords or leather to hang your bird's nest from, and if time permits, you will complete a necklace to hang your nest from. Full written instructions will be provided for finishing the necklace.

This is a great beginner wire work class because no two bird's nest look alike, nor are they perfectly neat and exact in shape! You will be encouraged to experiment and play with your nest(messy is okay!) whilst being shown how to secure it.

Let's Knot!

Classic pearl knotting, updated. Using the Easy Knotter designed by Maureen Olivetto, students will learn the techniques associated with this innovative and super-fast method of pearl knotting. Strung on silk bead cord, the coin pearl or gemstone necklace combines with crystals to make a statement all its own. The many samples in the store will inspire you and expand your beading experience.

The ease and speed of working with the Easy Knotter will amaze you.

Bobble Bangles Bracelets

This delicate bracelet will be a favorite with both beginner and experienced beaders alike. Beaded Rivoli with Bail.

Peyote-stitched seed beads surround a Swarovski Rivoli. After securing the rivoli with different sizes of seed beads, you can embellish your pendant to your heart's content! From funky and casual to dazzling and elegant - it all depends on your choice of beads and stitching. We'll make an attached bail in class for a perfect pendant. Make 2 for earrings; join several for a spectacular bracelet.

Dreaming in Color

Intermediate project: Proficiency in peyote stitch is a prerequisite.

Seven intriguing 3-D forms are prominently featured in this modular necklace. Invisible magnetic findings make it easy to change the length to suit the wearer's neckline or fancy. A bonus bangle with five components features custom-fitted joints. Students will learn to create forms that develop in a most intriguing way using circular peyote, connect them using an original stitch that provides suppleness while assuring that the forms lay correctly. A Polygon stitch creates a three-sided rope to finish the necklace.

Project will not be completed in class.

Merlot Bracelet

This lovely tubular bracelet will look stunning in any color combination. And with our enormous selection of SuperDuo beads, your hardest task will be which colors to choose! The circling SuperDuos and seed beads surround the wrist in a soft and comfortable bracelet. Why the name? The original bracelet was designed by Ella Designs in a beautiful color reminiscent of merlot wine.

Snowflake Earrings

You would never guess that these sparkling little snowflake earrings are so quick and easy to make! Using netting stitch with sparkling Swarovski Crystals and seed beads, these earrings really glisten. With endless color combinations they are easy to dress-up or dress-down, but you'll find these adorable earrings go with absolutely everything! You will make the larger pair of snowflakes in class, but time permitting; you can also try your hand at the two smaller versions- both just as cute and shimmering! Instructions will be provided for all 3 versions.

Please note- good eyesight and/or good magnification is required as we will be working with size 15/0 seed beads!

The Art of Bead Crochet

Learn the fundamentals of bead crochet in this workshop. Students will leave class with the hands-on knowledge to begin crocheting bead ropes. With the logical and progressive steps taught in this class you will progress past the initial learning curve and be able to move on to crochet beautiful beaded ropes. Bead caps will finish off your focal necklace.

A great technique to learn, not only because of its beauty and versatility, but because of its portability (all beads are strung ahead of time, so no beads all over the airplane aisle or car floor!) Definitely the class to get you started.

Written instructions and diagrams will be distributed for reference, including some tips and tricks of the trade.

Wire Works

Explore the many ways to manipulate wire to customize your jewelry. Create your own findings -S-hooks, fancy headpins, clasps, spirals and coiled beads - as we bend and twist, texture and harden, spiral and coil.

You will also receive a thorough explanation of proper wire gauges and tools and detailed written instructions.

The accompanying photo is just one example of what you can accomplish with your wire-worked pieces.

Tila Picot Necklace

Bow Ties Bracelet
