Starburst Sky Medallion

A sparkling rivoli encased in a peyote bezel embellished with SuperDuo's and Fire Polish beads slides onto a Superduo rope. You will learn to bezel the medallion and start the SuperDuo rope.

The Midas Touch

Origami Links

Two-hole triangles nestle among seed beads and fire polish beads to form this delicate flower-like link, reminiscent of origami. So versatile, the links connect to create a lovely bracelet ... or necklace ... or singly worn as earrings. Choose a monochromatic palette or a mix of colors to change the look completely. Kalmbach Books has graciously allowed Beads Mosaic to teach this pattern to our customers in anticipation of their soon-to-be-published beading book.

Basic Looming on the Jewel Loom

Learn to loom on the new Jewel Loom Class will walk you through from beginning to end. Demonstration and hands-on practice will enable you to set up your loom, learn the techniques of weaving, and to finish off the ends of your bracelet. Discussion will include the choice of stringing materials, the variety of bead choices, reading of a pattern, and the finishing off of your bracelet. Seed beads in size 8/0 will be used for this project, since their size makes them a perfect choice for a first project. It's amazing what you can accomplish on this small, portable and inexpensive loom.

Flat Spiral Bracelet.

Elegant yet deceptively simple, this is a different spiral technique which results in a flat bracelet. Easy to master and quick to complete, this project is a great introduction to working with needle and thread. Pretty as a single, even prettier as a double strand. Can even be made reversible! Instructions will be provided for all styles.

Let's Knot!

Classic pearl knotting, updated. Using the Easy Knotter designed by Maureen Olivetto, students will learn the techniques associated with this innovative and super-fast method of pearl knotting. Strung on silk bead cord, the coin pearl or gemstone necklace combines with crystals to make a statement all its own. The many samples in the store will inspire you and expand your beading experience.

The ease and speed of working with the Easy Knotter will amaze you.

Bezeling a Rivoli with SuperDuos

Encase a sparkling rivoli in a bezel of SuperDuo and seed beads. Use peyote stitch to surround the sparkling crystal and embellish with picots and crystals. Instructions will be provided for various sizes of rivolis. Previous beadweaving experience essential.

The Art of Bead Crochet

Learn the fundamentals of bead crochet in this workshop. Students will leave class with the hands-on knowledge to begin crocheting bead ropes. With the logical and progressive steps taught in this class you will progress past the initial learning curve and be able to move on to crochet beautiful beaded ropes. Bead caps will finish off your focal necklace.

A great technique to learn, not only because of its beauty and versatility, but because of its portability (all beads are strung ahead of time, so no beads all over the airplane aisle or car floor!) Definitely the class to get you started.

Written instructions and diagrams will be distributed for reference, including some tips and tricks of the trade.

Super Hugs & Kisses Bracelet

Be prepared for compliments when you wear this bracelet! The right angle weave base is embellished with seed beads and crystals. Like a narrow bracelet? Then your hugs and kisses bracelet is complete. Prefer something wider? Add outer rows of superduos, seed beads and rounds for extra pizazz. Sparkly, textural and interesting, yet not a difficult project.

Dangling Stars Earrings
