Wire Wrapped Rings.

Wire wrapped rings are fun and easy to make once you know the techniques. Students will complete several rings in different styles, all using the same wireworking techniques. Rings will include a simple bead wrap, a 3-bead ring, a charm ring, a love knot ring, and a double wrapped shank ring.

Merlot Bracelet

This lovely tubular bracelet will look stunning in any color combination. And with our enormous selection of SuperDuo beads, your hardest task will be which colors to choose! The circling SuperDuos and seed beads surround the wrist in a soft and comfortable bracelet. Why the name? The original bracelet was designed by Ella Designs in a beautiful color reminiscent of merlot wine.

Wire Works

Explore the many ways to manipulate wire to customize your jewelry. Create your own findings- S-hooks, fancy headpins, clasps, spirals and coiled beads - as we bend and twist, texture and harden, spiral and coil.

You will also receive a thorough explanation of proper wire gauges and tools and detailed written instructions.

This photo is just one example of what you can accomplish with your wire-worked pieces.

Kumihimo Braid with a Twist

Now that you've made the standard 8-cord beaded bracelet, let's learn something new. This technique varies from the standard braiding processes, resulting in a funky, chunky bracelet with different shaped beads.

This is not an introductory class, and students should be able to construct an 8-strand beaded bracelet.

Netting w/2-Hole Beads

The ancient but popular technique of netting can be found in almost all cultures on earth. The open areas between the beads result in a soft and lacy look. To create this collar we will learn vertical netting, resulting in points at the end of each row. Two-hole bricks and SuperDuos add a unique look to this necklace. Your choice of beads makes it classic enough for daytime wear or dressy enough for evening. Some beadweaving experience helpful.

Bezeling a Rivoli with SuperDuos

Encase a sparkling rivoli in a bezel of SuperDuo and seed beads. Use peyote stitch to surround the sparkling crystal and embellish with picots and crystals. Instructions will be provided for various sizes of rivolis. Previous beadweaving experience essential.

Crystal Criss Cross Bracelet

Rachel's Bows

Honeycomb Bracelet

A honeycomb pattern runs the length of this bracelet, surrounding Czech 2-hole tile beads. Add Superduos, bicones, rounds and seed beads to finish off this wide woven bracelet. With over 100 colors of Superduos in stock and a vast array of Czech round and fire-polished beads, any palette is at your fingertips.

Project will not be completed in class, but students will have all the necessary information to finish at home. Taught with permission of designer.

The Art of Bead Crochet

Learn the fundamentals of bead crochet in this workshop. Students will leave class with the hands-on knowledge to begin crocheting bead ropes. With the logical and progressive steps taught in this class you will progress past the initial learning curve and be able to move on to crochet beautiful beaded ropes. Bead caps will finish off your focal necklace.

A great technique to learn, not only because of its beauty and versatility, but because of its portability (all beads are strung ahead of time, so no beads all over the airplane aisle or car floor!) Definitely the class to get you started.

Written instructions and diagrams will be distributed for reference, including some tips and tricks of the trade.

Bobble Bangles Bracelets

Let's Knot!

Classic pearl knotting, updated. Using the Easy Knotter designed by Maureen Olivetto, students will learn the techniques associated with this innovative and super-fast method of pearl knotting. Strung on silk bead cord, the coin pearl or gemstone necklace combines with crystals to make a statement all its own. The many samples in the store will inspire you and expand your beading experience.

Kumihimo - Reverse Spiral w/Focal Bead

You've made beaded Kumihimo bracelets before; now it's time to learn some exciting additions for your jewelry. Adding focal beads enhances the look of any bracelet or necklace, and we'll learn the techniques to add beads with small and large holes. In addition, we'll lend symmetry to the bracelet by reversing the spiral after the focal bead. These skills will open up endless creative possibilities for the Kumihimo enthusiast!
