Daisy Chain Spiral

Daisy chain or spiral? Create the illusion of two strands of SuperDuos twisted around each other with the use of two colors of SuperDuos surrounding a central pearl. Bracelet is a "grow-as-you-go" project: finish one motif and immediately move on to the next on a continuous thread, eliminating sewing all the components together at the end.

Double Diamondback Bracelet

Designed by Alice Coelho, this stunning bracelet looks far more complicated than it is. Peyote-stitched squares of 15/0s, Delicas and Swarovski bicones are joined to form this quilted-looking pattern. This one always elicits compliments, whether in monochromatic or contrasting tones. Once you've mastered the pattern, variations in width and color can produce numerous designs. Taught with permission of designer.

Netting w/2-Hole Beads

The ancient but popular technique of netting can be found in almost all cultures on earth. The open areas between the beads result in a soft and lacy look. To create this collar we will learn vertical netting, resulting in points at the end of each row. Two-hole bricks and SuperDuos add a unique look to this necklace. Your choice of beads makes it classic enough for daytime wear or dressy enough for evening. Some beadweaving experience helpful.

Twinkling Diamond Stars Charm Bracelet

Inner Glow Necklace

This pendant has an inner glow that is eye catching. The pendant is composed of Lunasoft cabochon, crescents, SuperDuos, round beads, seed beads and Swarovski bicones. For the necklace you will learn Chenille stitch using a combination of 2 colors of seed beads, which will then be finished off with a beaded toggle made of SuperDuos and seed beads.

Previous experience with beadweaving is a prerequisite.

Nexus Bracelet & Earrings

Silky 2-hole beads lie on the diagonal, with a raised bevel on the top of each bead. This bracelet is created by beading 7 or more separate motifs, which are then joined using seed beads and SuperDuo beads. Single motifs make great earrings. The pattern is fully illustrated with detailed step-by-step instructions for both a bracelet and earrings.

When one row of rich gem tones just isn't enough! If the shine of bling isn't your thing, these pieces look equally lovely in matte and earthy colors. We will be using one-needle right angle weave for the bracelet base. Seed beads will form the embellishment - a row of X's or diagonals. Perfect for all levels of beaders. Project will not be completed in class, but students will have completed enough so finishing at home isn't a problem.

Wire Works

Explore the many ways to manipulate wire to customize your jewelry. Create your own findings- S-hooks, fancy headpins, clasps, spirals and coiled beads - as we bend and twist, texture and harden, spiral and coil.

You will also receive a thorough explanation of proper wire gauges and tools and detailed written instructions.
