Let's Knot!

Classic pearl knotting, updated. Using the Easy Knotter designed by Maureen Olivetto, students will learn the techniques associated with this innovative and super-fast method of pearl knotting. Strung on silk bead cord, the coin pearl or gemstone necklace combines with crystals to make a statement all its own. The many samples in the store will inspire you and expand your beading experience.

Wire Works

Explore the many ways to manipulate wire to customize your jewelry. Create your own findings- S-hooks, fancy headpins, clasps, spirals and coiled beads - as we bend and twist, texture and harden, spiral and coil.

You will also receive a thorough explanation of proper wire gauges and tools and detailed written instructions.

This photo is just one example of what you can accomplish with your wire-worked pieces.

Diamond Elegance

This necklace is dainty, but full of sparkle and shine. The combination of the new 2-hole DiamonDuos, seed beads and crystals (or fire-polish) results in a lovely draping choker. Experience with right angle weave would be helpful. Just a note - the project uses 15/0 seed beads (good eyesight a plus!)

Inner Glow Necklace

This pendant has an inner glow that is eye catching. The pendant is composed of Lunasoft cabochon, crescents, SuperDuos, round beads, seed beads and Swarovski bicones. For the necklace you will learn Chenille stitch using a combination of 2 colors of seed beads, which will then be finished off with a beaded toggle made of SuperDuos and seed beads.

Previous experience with beadweaving is a prerequisite.

Netting w/2-Hole Beads

The ancient but popular technique of netting can be found in almost all cultures on earth. The open areas between the beads result in a soft and lacy look. To create this collar we will learn vertical netting, resulting in points at the end of each row. Two-hole bricks and SuperDuos add a unique look to this necklace. Your choice of beads makes it classic enough for daytime wear or dressy enough for evening. Some beadweaving experience helpful.

Some beadweaving experience is advised.

Thalia Bracelet

This bracelet makes an elegant statement. The base is composed of 6mm rounds and 4mm firepolish beads. The addition of seed beads forms a dome shape, which is then embellished with 2mm rounds and rows of seed beads. Previous experience with beadweaving is a prerequisite. Bezeling a Rivoli with SuperDuos

Encase a sparkling rivoli in a bezel of SuperDuo and seed beads. Use peyote stitch to surround the sparkling crystal and embellish with picots and crystals. Instructions will be provided for various sizes of rivolis. Previous beadweaving experience essential.
